The perfect solution to stabilise your pop top roof when shutting the lid. This stabilises the whole lid when pulling it down so the lid does not flop to one side or the other which can damage you or the pop top roof. Only one Stabiliser required and recommended to be installed at the back.

If you are replacing the old spring lifting mechanism with gas struts I would highly recommend purchasing the stabiliser otherwise the struts will potentially snap. 

You need to ensure where the stabiliser attaches to the lid that it is reinforced. Some lids have ply bonded into them already and some don't. I would recommend bonding in ply before attaching the stabiliser to the lid. No instructions are supplied with the stabiliser because most lids are different and it is up to you to work out how it fits best to the set up in your camper. 

The Stabiliser is height is approx 50cm from centre of ball joint to centre of ball joint.
