Westfalia Front Hinge
The Westfalia models of Bay window fall into two easily distinguishable types, The earlier front hinged model(Seen left, roof hinges on front, roofrack on the back) or the rear hinged model (below left, roof hinges on the rear, roofrack on the front).

Dormobile Side Elevating
The Dormobile range of campers use a side elevating roof also known as the Martin Walter roof, originally fitted to bedford Vans and Landrovers, it is easily recognised by the two glass windows and two opening vents in the fibreglass elevating part.

Devon Full Length Side Elevating
Throughout the 70's, Devon offered several high quality VW camper conversions. In the mid to late 70's Devon introduced a full length side elevating roof (left), which made for a very versatile, useable space.

In 1975 Devon introduced the straight sided poptop, which replaced the 'concertina' poptop of earlier models which was prone to splitting.

Danbury Poptop
Still converting Type 2s and Type 5s today, the Danbury conversion offered a simple poptop reminiscient of the Devon. Please contact us with some simple measurements for your poptop as Danbury poptops do differ in size

The T25 devon conversion offers straight sides and differs from the bay version as it sits slightly higher at the front than at the rear.
